Author guidance · Programs in preparation

Prepare a strong manuscript while journals are in preparation.

Journal submissions are not open, but authors can prepare a complete, transparent manuscript package now. The final requirements for each future program will be published before that route accepts work.

Author-ready files

A clean intake starts before the upload.

A well-organized package reduces avoidable questions and helps editors assess scope, authorship, evidence, and permissions without guessing.

01

A complete manuscript record

Prepare a clear title, abstract, keywords, structured manuscript, references, tables, figures, captions, and any supporting files as separate, identifiable assets.

02

Confirmed contributor details

Record each contributor’s name, affiliation, contribution, contact details, and authorship agreement before starting a future submission.

03

Transparent declarations

Prepare funding, competing-interest, ethics, data-availability, permissions, and AI-use declarations that accurately describe the work.

Preparation checklist

What authors can organize now.

No early or implied journal submission

Sending a manuscript by email or contact form does not create a journal submission. NiviScholar will identify the official intake route clearly if and when a journal program opens.

  1. 01Use an editable manuscript file with a clear title, abstract, headings, and references.
  2. 02Confirm author order, affiliations, contribution statements, and corresponding-author details.
  3. 03Keep figures, tables, captions, supplementary files, and permissions clearly labelled.
  4. 04Prepare accurate funding, competing-interest, ethics, data, and AI-use declarations.
  5. 05Check the published scope and final author instructions when a journal program formally opens.
